Artist's Description

A low angle photograph of a row of Diwali Diyas or Oil Lamps arranged in a line, that are used to decorate and light houses on the day of the festival each year as tradition. Diwali also known as the "festival of lights", is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
